Welcome to Marco Cattaneo's home page

This is my personal home page. Look at my professional home page for more work related information.

I am married to Jackie and we have two daughters, Chiara and Carlotta.

A selection of family photographs from 2004 to 2007 can be found by putting the appropriate year in this link: http://cattaneb.home.cern.ch/cattaneb/photos/year/. Earlier photos can be found here.

I live in  St.Genis-Pouilly (where I am a town councillor) and work at CERN, on the LHCb experiment.

Until 2000 I worked on the Aleph experiment and was a volunteer guide for the CERN Visits Service

I obtained my Ph.D. at Imperial College, London in 1987, working on the NA14/2 experiment at CERN. My thesis is here.

I graduated from Downing College, Cambridge in 1982. Here is the matriculation photograph from 1979, I am no. 17 on the detail!

Marco's bookmarks at CERN saved on 6th December 2005.
